This quilt was design as a challenge quilt for the Lincoln Quilt Guild. The trees and house are machine appliquéd, with free motion quilting used to create leaves, bricks for the chimney and other accent designs around the house. The back ground is McTavished with free motion feathers in the inner and outer border, and concentric lines in the middle border. This Quilt won first place and best in the wall quilt division at the Lancaster County Fair 2009, and first place small quilt category at the Douglas County Fair 2009.
